Chester B. O'Neal

Chester B. O'Neal, 82, a lifelong resident of Little Rock, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. He was born June 30, 1935 to Charlie and Mary O'Neal. He served honorably in the United States Army Reserves from 1958-1964. Chester loved to travel, especially to the Caribbean, Mexico, New York and the Gulf beaches. He had a passion for interior decorating and was always a well dressed man. Chester is survived by his sister, Georgia Martin; numerous nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and his feline companion, Mollie. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clifford, Charles, James, and Bill; and sisters, Myrtie, Mary Lois and Jimmie Lou. The family would like to give a special thanks to his caregivers, Roger Bradley, Peggy Rogers and Patricia Nathan; Elite Home Health Care; and the staff at Little Rock Baptist Hospital. Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society, 14600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72210 or any animal rescue organization. A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew, 617 Louisiana Street, Little Rock.
