Elouise Williamson, 82, went to her heavenly home, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born December 10, 1935 in Trumann to the late Paul and Clara Robertson Houston. She was a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in secondary education. During her career she taught home economics and later switched to elementary education. She was an active member of Walnut Street Baptist Church and enjoyed working with Acts of Love sewing quilts and turbans for cancer patients. Elouise was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother; and her happiest moments were simply when she was with family and friends. Her favorite times were always the yearly summer trips with all her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Darrell Williamson; two sons and their wives, Kirk and Bridget Williamson of Jonesboro and Kent and Kelley Williamson of Springdale; three grandchildren, Derek Williamson and wife Cheyenne of Little Rock, Paul Williamson and Anna Grace Williamson both of Springdale. Visitation will be noon until 2 p.m. Friday at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2018 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Pastor Grey Falanga officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.
