Clarence Warren Crandall

Clarence Warren Crandall, 89, of Steprock went to be with his Lord on Friday, June 8, 2018. He was born Thursday, May 30, 1929 in Stuttgart, Ark., to the late Albert and Della Naomi (Argo) Crandall. He was a retired farmer/rancher and a member of the Steprock Church of Christ. He had a great love of cattle ranching, fox hunting, family time, sharing his stories of days past, and watching Arkansas Razorback football (Win or Lose). He took great pride in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ella Laverne (Wilson) Crandall; his parents, three brothers, Albert Edwin, Don Stillman and Carlton Eugene; a foster sister, Christine Moody and one sister, Della Lurene Wilson, whom he cherished and spent 53 years side by side working on the family farm at Steprock. He is survived by a son, Al Crandall (Lisa) of Steprock; one daughter, Wanda Brown (Jerrell) of Providence; five grandchildren, Jennifer Hancock of Judsonia, Adam and Greg Crandall of Florida, Reece Brown of Judsonia, Michael Crandall of Sunnydale; a brother-in-law, Billy Wilson of Steprock and 13 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and relatives, plus many well-loved friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions can be made to The Imagine and Believe Foster Care: 812 S. Main Street (PO BOX 2042) Searcy, Ark. 72143, or a charity of your choice. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 13 at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel in Bald Knob. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Cemetery.
