JIMMY L. OSLER, 70, of Little Rock, made his transition on June 4, 2018. He was born Aug. 26, 1947 in Wheatley, Ark. He attended Horace Mann High School. He then enlisted into the U. S. Army, where he proudly served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Osler's accomplishments were many: he earned a business degree, then, furthered his education by becoming a Respiratory Therapist and practiced for 42 years. He was a very devoted husband and family man, who took exceptional care of his family. He was a loving husband and father until the very end. He will be sorely missed. Mr. Osler is preceded in death by his mother and father, Estella and Lee Osler; a brother and a sister. Mr. Osler is survived by his wife of 46 years, Mildred M. Osler; three loving daughters, Gwendolyn (David), Charlotte (Wayne) and Pamela; two brothers, Benjamin and Ezell; two grandsons; nephews, nieces and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11 a.m., with visitation at 10 a.m. prior to the funeral at St. John MBC on Roosevelt and Main in Little Rock. Burial service will follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, North Little Rock. Services by Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305.
