Paul Leon Gibbons

Paul Leon Gibbons was the sixth child of R.L. (Slim) and Lillian Gibbons. Paul passed away June 7, 2018 in Russellville, Ark. He was born June 30, 1950 at Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville, born with Spina Bifida and other physical and mental handicaps. The doctors did not think he would live to be 10 years old or so. He leaves behind three sisters, Marie (Cecil) Clifton of Rogers, Barbara Ann Gibbons of Rogers, Juanita (Dale) Callaway of Bentonville and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by a brother Robert Edward Gibbons of Portsmouth, Va., who passed away Nov. 18, 2010, a sister Willie Bernice Edwards House of Centerton, Ark., who passed away May 4, 2014, his dad R.L. who passed away Jan. 30, 1970, and his mother Lillian who passed May 31, 1999. Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday June 12, 2018 at the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, where he will be laid to rest by his parents.
