Verble Eston Herrington of Little Rock went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2018. He was born November 10, 1925 in Gurdon, Arkansas to Andrew L. Herrington and Maud Lou McGinnis Herrington. He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Earl Herrington; sister, LouElla Herrington Tinkle; first wife, Gertrude Roine Herrington; and son-in-law, Jackson Snell. Verble is survived by his wife of 69 years, Virginia Lee Hill Herrington; his daughter, Barbara Herrington Snell; grandsons, John and Greg Snell; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Verble was a man of God and member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He worked as a machinist for 44 years for MoPac/Union Pacific and was a WWII Navy veteran. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Immanuel Baptist Church's Bereavement Fund or Building Fund, 501 N.
