Dulan A Tompkins

Dulan A. Tompkins of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 8, 1938 in Conway, Arkansas, the son of the late Elmer Howard Tompkins and Emmer Roland Tompkins. He enjoyed watching old westerns, shooting pool and driving the back roads. He was also a retired painter. Mr. Tompkins died at his home on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the age of 79. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers and four sisters, children, Christopher Dean Tompkins, Billy Gerald Tompkins, Edith Ann McWilliams, granddaughter, Crystal June Tompkins. Survivors: wife of 57 years, Doris Webb Tompkins of Sheridan; sons, Dulan Dwayne Tompkins of Sheridan, Bobby Darrell Tompkins and wife Karen of Sheridan, George Anthony Tompkins of Hot Springs, Thomas Howard Tompkins and wife Carla of East End; daughter, Angela Lowerre of Little Rock; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Bro. Shawn Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 –8 p.m. Pallbearers are Darren Smith, Billy Tompkins, Wayne Ross, Neal Tyson, Todd Williams and Allen Hale.
