She was preceded in death by husbands, Claude Smith, Jr., and Emery Tillman, and children, Carolyn Smith-Trotter and Ronald Smith (Beverly). She will forever be missed by her sons, Charles Smith (Janet) and Claude Smith, III (Margaret); daughters, Kathy Smith-Duhart (Goldie) and Connie Smith; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and dear friends, Alicia Smith, Wanda Townsend, Georgia Walton, Jerry Williamson, and Mrs. E. Daniels. Perpetual care entrusted to GateWay Funeral Chapel, "Where Caring and Quality Come First", 2405 S. Gaines Street, LR, 72206. Obsequies will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, at Union A.M.E., 1825 Pulaski. No family hour but open visitation 12 noon-5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the funeral home, (501) 376-7188.
