Lyle William Privett, age 88, was born in Duluth, Minnesota, on March 8, 1930, and departed this Earth June 19, 2018. He was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and he had served as an interim preacher in various Churches of Christ throughout Northwest Arkansas. He served four years in the military at Shepard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mr. Privett is survived by two daughters, Vicky McGohan (Don) of Pontoon, Arkansas, and Christie Alexander of Fort Smith, Arkansas, as well as one step-daughter, Pam Jolly of Little Rock, Arkansas. Additional survivors include two siblings, Polly Myzchrezak and Earl Privett of Duluth, Minnesota, two grandsons, Mark and Brett McGohan, and three step-grandchildren, Aaron and Allison Jolly and Melody Speer. Great-grandchildren include Charlie McGohan and Alex Jolly. May he rest eternally with God. Visitation and funeral with a private burial in Alexander, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 22, 2018 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the chapel prior to the service. Arrangements by Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle.
