Phoebe Sloan Crocker, 60, of Little Rock died Sunday, June 17th surrounded by her family. Phoebe was born May 29, 1958 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to William Comfort Sloan Jr. and LaVerne Scott Sloan. She was raised in Jonesboro and graduated from Arkansas State University with a Masters in Business where she met Don Crocker. The two were married in 1984 and spent the majority of their 34 years together in Little Rock. In 1992, they welcomed their daughter Katie, who was the light of her life. She dedicated her life to her family, loved her pets, enjoyed gardening, reading, and helping others. She worked as an accountant at The Centers for Youth and Families and Holy Souls Church Office. She was a member of the Arkansas Master Gardeners Program and the PEO Sisterhood. She leaves behind her husband, Donald D. Crocker, of Little Rock, her daughter, Katherine Elizabeth Crocker and husband Nicholas D. Crifasi, of Philadelphia and her brother, William Comfort Sloan III (Bill), of Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Comfort Sloan Jr. and LaVerne Scott Sloan. Visitation will be held Friday, June 22 at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m., both at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Arkansas Children's Hospital, Adopt-A-Stray, or a charity of your choice.
