Robert Alan Brown

Robert Alan "Robb" Brown, age 41, of Searcy, died Friday, February 23, 2018. He was born February 20, 1977, at Fort Ord, California. Robb was a very devoted husband and father. He served in the US Army 82nd Airborne (DAV) as a Paratrooper and multi-Channel Communications Specialist. He graduated from UALR with a Masters Degree in Technical Writing and Communications. He was a Principal Managed Services Consultant for Capgemini. He leaves his wife of 11 years, Lauren LaForce Brown; two sons, Holden and Parker Brown; parents, Tim and Susan Brown; one sister, Katrina Carrigan (Joe); and many other loving family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Rick Arden Smestad; brother, Eric Arden Smestad; and grandmother, Ann "Kit" Brown. A visitation will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 1-3 p.m. in the Chapel of Powell Funeral Home with a memorial service immediately following.
