Philip Douglas Brown

Philip Douglas Brown, 73, of Cabot went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2018 with his family by his side. Although Philip was born in California, he was a resident of Arkansas for most of his life. He and his wife, Donna, lived in Cabot for the last six years. Philip graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1962 and from UALR and UCA. He also served in the United States Army. He was a loving man who never met a stranger and he was known for being able to put a smile on anyone's face. Philip is preceded in death by his father, George Brown; mother, Francis Brown; and brother Steven Brown. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna Brown; sister, Marilyn Brown Johnson; sister-in-law, Jan Brown; son, Mark Davis; daughters, Sonjia Loftis and Sheri Davis; son-in-law, Doug Loftis; nephew, Aaron Brown; grandchildren, Cody Glenn, Cole Glenn, Nick Davis, Jamie Davis, Logan Loftis, and Colby Loftis; great-grandchildren, Makai Sanchez, Liliana Sanchez, and Kameron Loftis. During the last years of his life, Philip was an avid member and employee of the Greystone Country Club. Philip wished to have a memorial service held at Greystone Country Club, Cabot, Ark. He will be honored on March 7, 2018 at 6:30 p.m.
