Margaret Nell Fraser Tyler, of Little Rock, Ark, passed away on March 3, 2018. She was born on November 13, 1942, the daughter of James Hubbard Fraser and Mabel Claire Vail Fraser. Those who knew her would all agree that she was a beautiful person both inside and out with a radiant glowing personality, a wonderful sense of humor, a positive outlook on life and the best smile ever. Margaret was smart and talented and from an early age she was involved in Ballroom, Tap, and Ballet Dancing, piano, voice, speech/ drama and singing in her church choir. She attended Little Rock Central High School and the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. While at Central she was a member of the A cappella Choir and played a major role in the senior play. From grade school on she was on the Honor Roll, Beta Club, Junior National Honor Society, National Honor Society and while at the University of Arkansas was inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society. In 1961, Margaret married the love of her life and soul mate, James H. Tyler of Little Rock. They did everything together; cooking, camping, fishing, walking through the woods, enjoying friends and being with their daughter Sheri and their nieces and nephews who lovingly called her Aunt Mappie. Margaret and Jim's favorite thing was dancing and they went often until she became ill. Their last dance together was on October 29, 2005. They were married for 56 years and loved each other just as much at fifty-six years as the day they were married. Margaret was selfless in her devotion to her parents and family, helping them in any way possible and tending to her father and mother for many years. They both said she was an angel. Unfortunately Margaret was forced to fight through several disabling illnesses and like the person she was, fought with bravery and courage, never complaining and never lost her laugh and beautiful smile. Margaret was an inspiration to us all and will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hubbard Fraser; mother, Mabel Claire Vail Fraser and brother, Dr. James H. Fraser. She is survived by her husband, James H. Tyler of Little Rock; daughter, Sheri Ann Kennedy of Tacoma, WA and sister, Jamie McLain of Conway; nephews, Scott A. Fraser (Hanna) of Bella Vista; Roy S. Kirkpatrick (Tami) Springdale; nieces, Melissa Carter (Michael) of Conway; Kristi Staley (Justin) of Little Rock; Paige Hadfield (Charlie) of Little Rock. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10 a.m., Friday, March 9, 2018 at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 20900 Chenal Pkwy, Little Rock, Ark. 72223 with a burial immediately following the church service at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Alexander.
