Annabelle Mae Albertin, age 87, of Goshen passed away Wednesday, March 7, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born March 23, 1930 at Chillicothe, MO, the daughter of William Edward and Jennie Doty (Graham) Cox. On December 31, 1948 in De Soto, KS she was united in marriage to Lale Albertin, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2008. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers and one sister. Surviving are one son, Dennis Albertin and his wife Samantha of Fayetteville; three daughters, Janette Sue O'Connell and her husband William of Eustis, FL, Jennie Lee Matlock and her husband Wes of Goshen and Diane Kelley and her husband Jonathan of Kansas City, KS; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Annabelle graduated from Northeast Senior High School in Kansas City, MO. She had been employed as a bank teller, worked for South Western Bell Telephone Company, in a doctor's office, a nursing home, R & O, Army Corp of Engineers and Johnson County DMV. In 1997 she and her husband moved to Goshen to make their home. She was a member of DAR in Olathe, KS and the Mayflower Society. Some of her favorite pastimes were crafting and collecting dolls. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 12 at Edgewood Cemetery in Chillicothe, MO, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville, MO. Contributions may be made to Willard Walker Hospice Home in memory of Annabelle.
