Calvin Henry Shackelford Sr.

CALVIN HENRY SHACKLEFORD SR., 100, of Little Rock, Ark., peacefully passed away on March 3, 2018. He served as a World War II Veteran. He retired from the VA Hospital, and worked for RSVP Catering for 32 years. His loving survivors include: sons, Calvin H. Shackelford, Jr., Milton (Crystal) Shackelford and William Shackelford, II.; daughters, Shirley Jackson and Charlotte Scott; sisters, Corine (Johnny) Joseph and Mary (John) King both from Gary, Indiana; sister-law, Rosie Lee Shackelford; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of his life will be held Monday, March 12, 2018, 10:30 am, at St. John Missionary Church, 2501 Main Street, Little Rock, Ark. Interment will follow with honors at Little Rock National Cemetery, 2523 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, Ark. Family hour: Monday, March 12, 2018, 9:30-10:30 am, prior to the service, at the church.
