Frances Verucchi Franco, 82 of Tontitown passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Springdale. She was born November 27, 1935 in Tontitown, Arkansas to Virgil Verucchi Sr. and Emma Sbanotto Verucchi. Frances was a waitress for many years at Mary Maestri's. She then worked for the Tontitown Water Dept. and she was the Recorder/Treasurer for the City of Tontitown for 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown where she was a Eucharistic Minister and also sang in the choir for many years. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed crossword puzzles, Hallmark movies and loved her granddogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andy Franco to whom she was married for 47 years, two brothers, Virgil Verucchi, Jr. and Leroy Verucchi and one great-nephew, Aaron Perkins. Survivors include two daughters, Pam Shelby and husband John of Fort Smith and Pattie Main and husband James of Tontitown; one sister, Barbara Faraci and husband Vic of California; one sister in law, Margie Verucchi of Springdale; four grandchildren, Wesley Main, Christopher Main, Ryan Shelby, Cara Shelby, one great-grandchild, Charlotte Main and many girlfriends who she dearly loved. Rosary services will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tontitown. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. John Connell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, P.O.
