Irene Jenise Dunlap

Irene Jenise Dunlap, 88, of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018. She was born on February 19, 1930 in Newbern, Tennessee to the late Elmer Marion Hugueley and Thelma Virginia Warren Hugueley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Forrest Jackson Dunlap Sr., sons, Forrest Jackson Dunlap Jr., Thomas Mark Dunlap, and David Dunlap; and sisters, Jo Ann Hugueley and Betty Rose Hugueley. Jenise grew up in Hughes, Arkansas and Gary, Indiana and lived in many places during her life. Her most recent years she resided in West Memphis, Heber Springs, Conway, and Little Rock, Ark. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and active in Emmaus. She was a Bible scholar and prayer warrior. She loved to garden and was a wonderful cook. She took care of multiple grandkids in her home. She is survived by her sisters, Cora Warren of Hughes, Ark. and Shirley Vaughn of Dallas, Texas; brother, Ray Hugueley of Hughes; daughter, Joyce Beckham of Birmingham, Ala.; sons, Steve Dunlap (Libby) and Rich Dunlap (Dena) both of Little Rock; daughter-in-law, Melinda Dunlap of Atlanta, Ga.; grandchildren, Jenni Brand (Dan) of Birmingham, Ala., Bo Beckham of Memphis, Tenn., Aimee Dunlap (Perry) of St. Louis, Mo., Emily Flanigan (Brian) of Jupiter, FL, Trey Dunlap (Jennifer) of Atlanta, Michael Dunlap of Jupiter, Fla., Anna Dunlap of Atlanta, Ga., Lydia Keener (Brad) of Harrison, Ark., Tom Dunlap (Cameron) of Little Rock, and Mary Condit (Daniel) of Vilonia, Ark.; great-grandchildren, Stuart, Colin, Judith, Celia, Jacob, Kailey, Cole, Ian, Lily, Teagan, Jackson, Graham, and Hudson; and great-great-grandchild, Lucas; and many other extended family members and beloved friends. Special Thanks to Woodland Heights Memory Care Unit and Yvette and Hospice Home Care In-Patient. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Ark.
