Paul Joseph Lachowsky, 90, of Conway, passed away, Tuesday, March 13, 2018. He was born Friday, March 2, 1928 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Adalbert and Mary Elizabeth Rumker. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ellen (Harrison) Lachowsky, brother-in-law, Doug Harrison, five brothers and six sisters. He was retired from the Arkansas National Guard; Troop E, 151st Cavalry, 39th Infantry Brigade. A lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Conway, Paul belonged to the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree, Assembly 1703. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching and his family. He leaves to cherish his memory; daughter, Mary Lynne Lachowsky of Conway; sons, Richard Alan Lachowsky of Bearden, Arkansas and Kenneth Paul Lachowsky and his wife Debbi of Conway; sisters, Lucille Doolos and Florence Zimmerebner both of Conway; sister-in-law, Stella Harrison of Corinth, Texas; grandchildren, Katelyn Hartwick and Emily Hartwick-Jones; six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 16, 2018 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway, with a rosary being said at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be said Saturday, March 17th at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
