He was surrounded by the love of his friends and family. He is now living in the presence of Jesus and we praise God for the grace and mercy He pours on our lives to allow us to be called His children and live with Him for eternity for all who believe on Him. Lewis was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict where he served as a medical assistant in the Navy and Marines. Lewis graduated from Belmont University in Tennessee. After a short stint with insurance he was transferred to North Little Rock where he spent 30 years with General Mills Food Company. Later when he retired, he and his wife moved to Bella Vista to enjoy family, friends, and golf. Lots of golf! He and his wife were always faithful attenders of their church and involved in their church activities. Lewis led worship through the years of his life in various churches they attended. Lewis enjoyed a life of family. He enjoyed camping, fishing, tennis, golf, running, and the yearly trip each summer to the beaches of Florida. Lewis had a tremendous sense of humor and knew how to play. His focus on his family strengthened the bond of love between them all. He was known to all as a man of integrity. He was a servant to all. The most important part of his life was sharing the delight, joy and excitement he found in his personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Lewis was the third of seven children.
