Bobby Gene Putman, Sr.

Bobby Gene Putman Sr. was born August 15, 1944 at Butlerville, Arkansas and he passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Lonoke County Sheriff's Dept. as a police officer. He enjoyed motorcycles and small engine repair. Bobby was a good man who was loved by everyone who knew him. Bobby is survived by his daughter, Paula Putman; two grandchildren, Harley and Chevy; one great-grandchild, Emery; siblings Lavern Holland of Clio, Michigan, W. C. "Dub" (Shirley) Putman of Flint, Michigan; Martha (Larry) Fowler of Des Arc, Arkansas and Barbara (John) Kays of Lompoc, California; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elgie and Oleta Putman, and son, Bobby Gene Putman Jr. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2018 at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
