William Carlton "Toby" Evans, 91, of England, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Monday, March 19, 2018. He was born December 14, 1926 in England, Arkansas to Elisha and Anna Elizabeth Evans. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Betty Jane Freeman Evans; and one son: Tony Evans. Toby is survived by one daughter: Carla Smith (Dickey) of Sherwood; three grandchildren: Shane Smith (Shelly) of North Little Rock, Misty Herrera (Michael) of Sherwood and Leah Evans of Conway; three brothers: Bobby Evans (Mary) of Smackover, Arkansas, Norman Evans and Euleus "Rusty" Evans (Judy) all of England, Arkansas; and his nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Toby was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in England. He was a Mason; a member of England Lodge #507, Scottish Rites. He loved his family, baseball as a player and a fan, auctions and was a devout Christian. He served in the military during WWII from June 1945 until November 1946. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Roller England Funeral (501) 842-3939 from 5-7 p.m. Services will be Thursday, March 22, 2018 also at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Bro. David Inzer will be officiating. Burial will follow at Mulberry Cemetery, England, Arkansas. The family asked that memorials be made to Landmark Baptist Church, P.O.
