Claudia "Chlo" Chlorene Treat, 90, of Cassville, Mo., died on March 24, 2018 at Cassville Health Care and Rehabilitation. She was born September 29, 1927 in Flippin, Ark., the daughter of Claud and Opal (Bussell) Foster. On January 28, 1944, she married Cecil Treat, who survives. Also surviving are one son, David Treat (Lori), Cassville; two daughters, Donna Medders (Howell), Fayetteville, and Chelle Treat Catron, Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren, Corey Medders, Jon Medders, Keisha Catron, Tanner Thompson and Samantha Treat Woods; and five great-grandchildren, Chloe, Lara, Adam, Lily and Lexi. Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Max Foster; and one sister, Jean Pemberton. Chlo grew up in Arkansas and attended school at Big Flat. For many years she was a clerk in department stores in Little Rock, Springdale, and Branson. In 1976, she moved to Cassville where she and Cecil owned and operated Park Road Court on Highway 112 near Cassville. She was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ in Cassville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday (3/31/2018), at Mill Street Church of Christ, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Ken West will conduct the services. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday (4/2/2018), at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Ark. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in memory of Chlo.
