Ruth "Darlene" Graves of Hot Springs passed away on March 27, 2018. She was born November 29, 1942 in Ward, Ark., to the late Allie Franklin and Ruth Noble Sentell. Darlene was an organist, pianist, and accordionist who served as a pastor's wife for 57 years with her husband, Rev. Paul Graves, throughout Central Arkansas. Darlene retired after 20 years of service from Farmers Group Insurance. She enjoyed making personalized greeting cards for others and was always shopping for the latest "bling". She enjoyed fishing, camping, and traveled 39 states and 13 foreign countries, but will be remembered most for her love of the Lord, music, and family. Survivors include her husband; three sons: Paul Graves, Jr. (Tammy), Tim Graves (Lisa) and Stephen Graves (Lysa Marie); grandchildren: Matthew Graves, Megan (Cory) Thackston; Marissa, Micah, Morgan Graves; Michael VanBrocklin, Sarah Walker, Cato Wilson, and Cloe Graves; brother, James Sentell (Clara); and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by siblings: Allie Mae Freeling, Geraldine Cox, Donald House, and an infant brother. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2018, at Caruth Hale Funeral Home, Hot Springs. A second visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, followed by funeral services at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
