Darlene Johnson

Darlene Johnson, age 63, of North Little Rock, passed away on Sat March 24, 2018, at her home. She was born July 22, 1954 in Clarksdale, Miss., to Dorothy Mae Davis (father deceased). Darlene was an educator for 20-plus years. She worked for UAMS Headstart. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye, and spending time with family was very important to her. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband James E. Johnson; her son Mekela D. Johnson; and her daughter Stephanie T. Johnson; four grandsons; and two granddaughters, all of North Little Rock. Family hour will be held Friday, March 30, 6-7 p.m., at Premier Funeral Home, 1518 S. Battery, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 31, 12 noon, at Eighth Street Baptist Church, 900 S.A. Jones Dr., North Little Rock, Ark.
