LAMAR BRIDGES, 93, of Little Rock, died March 28 in Little Rock. He was born Jan. 23, 1925 in Plainview, Ark., to Matthew and Eva Bridges. He was an Army veteran and served in Europe during World War II. He was a Mason and a member of the Geyer Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired Little Rock police officer and long-time property manager for the Grundfest family. Survivors include his special friend, Ardell Glover; son Larry and wife Janice of Batesville; daughter Linda Trionfante and husband Paul of Searcy; three grandchildren, Josh Bridges and wife Dee of Batesville, Tony Trionfante of Searcy, Alicia Vinsant of Searcy; three great-grandchildren, Alex Vinsant, Livvie Trionfante, and Logan Trionfante; his nephew Bob Bridges who was his long-time caregiver; and many other nephews and nieces. Funeral will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018, in the chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Pine Crest Memorial Park in Alexander, with Bob Bridges, Bill Barnes, Travis Smith, Doyle Smith, Oscar Hirby and Bobby Breeding serving as pallbearers, under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth.
