Jessie M. Harp

Jessie M. Harp, 89, of Miami, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at her home. She was born July 21, 1928 in Parsons, Kansas to Jesse and Rosa Farmer Landsdowne. Jessie was a Farmer's Wife and loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a devout Christian. Jessie was always there to help anyone who needed it. She was compassionate, loving, caring, giving and always gracious. She was loved by all who met her and she was an Angel on earth, not to just family, but to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Karran Sue and one sister, Juanita May. Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Ivan Harp of the home; one son, Darrell Harp and wife Donna of Miami, Oklahoma; one sister, Betty Keen of Springdale; three grandchildren, Marshall Harp and wife Jana of Oklahoma, Randall Harp and wife Maria of Texas, Cody Wood and wife Chele of Oklahoma and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. No visitation is planned.
