WILMA "JEAN" LAMPKIN 82 of Benton passed away Friday, May 4, 2018 at Good Shepherd Rehab in Little Rock. She was born June 9, 1935 in Danville, Ark., to the late Booker & Lizzie James Priddy. She worked for UAMS for 60 years. She was named one of the UAMS Phenomenal Women 2016. Preceded in death by her parents; father of her children, Jim Lampkin; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Hefner and Gaylon Frank. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law, Marilyn & Scott Turnbow of Benton; sister, Wynonna Hefner of Danville; Carol Ann Frank of Indiana; granddaughter, Lindsey & Zach Dayer of Conway; great-grandchildren, Charlee Grace & Peyton Scott Dayer; nephews, Randy & Julie Hefner; and Gerald "Tinker" Hefner; great-niece, Marissa & Jay York; great-nephews, Josh Hefner, and Talon Hefner; her longtime friend, Carl Boerner of North Little Rock. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Danville Assembly of God Church with Lloyd Black. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Monday May 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Earl Ladd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be in Josh Hefner name to Arkansas Children's Hospital #1 Children Way Little Rock, AR 72202.
