Joseph Samuel Ford

JOSEPH SAMUEL FORD, 87, of Little Rock, Ark., was born July 26, 1930 in Scott, Ark. to the late Joe Ford and Lucy Guess. He transitioned peacefully from this life on May 3, 2018. Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Henry Ford. He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps, 1951-1954. Joseph leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Daryl (Trish) Bassett, Sherwood, Ark.; Mark Dean, Little Rock, Ark.; two daughters, Vadell Bowman, Brooklyn New York; Donna (Tracy) Turnage, Lawton, Oklahoma; two brothers, James Mitchell, McAlmont, Ark and Landers Ford, Texas; sister Ruby Bolden, Killeen, Texas; seven grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Christian Way Funeral Home in Pine Bluff, Ark. Both services will be held at Greater Trinity Church of God in Christ, 2400 Wright Avenue, Little Rock, Ark. Family hour will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2018 and Funeral services will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. www.christianwayfh.com
