Kadra Joyce Acklin

Kadra Joyce Acklin, 43, of North Little Rock, Ark. departed this life on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. She was born on February 16, 1975 to Bobby and Pamela (Sewell) Acklin in Conway, Ark. Kadra was educated at Conway Christian Academy, the Conway Public School District and graduated from Philander Smith College with a degree in Psychology. She was currently a faithful member of the Samaritan Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and she served as the Sunday School secretary. Kadra leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Joshua Keith Nelson; parents, Reverend Bobby Acklin and Pamela; brother, Reverend Byron Acklin; niece, Syriah Acklin; maternal grandmother, Joyce Sewell and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and so so many friends and acquaintances Homegoing Celebration will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 811 S.A.
