Henry Parker, 81, of North Little Rock, answered his call to Glory on May 10, 2018 surrounded by the family who loved him dearly. Henry, also known as HP, was born November 23, 1936, to the late Frank Parker, Sr. and Josephine Kelley Parker Mays. He was a graduate of Nelson High School in Scott, Ar. and a retiree of Teletype Corporation, also known as Alcatel Lucent and AT&T. He was a faithful member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Little Rock, for over 50 years. He was preceded in death by both his parents Frank and Josephine, stepmother Corina Parker, siblings Augusta Parker, Sylvester Parker, Sr., Roosevelt Parker, Sr., John Henry Taylor, Sr., Verlean Booth, Lucille Smith, and Lucy Slater, and granddaughter Lacosha "CoCo" Parker. He leaves his children to cherish his memories, Deborah Parker McPeace, Ricky Parker, and Sharon Parker Dumas, all of North Little Rock, Jerry Parker Sr. (Genenail) of Little Rock, nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, siblings, Louise Young, Eloise Meeks (Robert), Frank Parker Jr. (Willie Mae), James Bryles Sr. (Pricilla), sister-in-law, Lois Parker, and the mother of his children, Dorothy Parker. A Rosary and Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 18th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home located at 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock 72205. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018, 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception church located at 7000 JFK Blvd., NLR 72116.
