Letha Mae Hobbs

Mrs. Letha Mae Hobbs, 91, of Pine Bluff, AR was born September 27, 1926 to the late Willie and Mittie Antwine in Ardmore, Oklahoma. She peacefully transitioned on May 11, 2018. She is survived by her husband Rev. Dr. Anthony O. Hobbs. Other survivors include, her six step-children, a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and dear friends, clubs and church members. She was a Charter and Lifetime member of the Pine Bluff Chapter of Links, Inc., Minister's Wives, Arkansas Medical, Dental and Pharmaceutical Association, a Life member of the Women's Missionary Society of the Central Arkansas 12th District AME Church, Social and Art Federated Club and a joyful member of Traveling Friends. She and her husband were supporters of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Educational fund. Family Hour Service will take place at Brown Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m., on Thursday evening. Her body will lie in-state Friday, 10:15 a.m., until service. The Celebration of Life will take place at St. James A.M.E. Church, 1117 West Pullen Street at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018.
