Elly Earline (Bates) Free

Elly Earline (Bates) Free went to be with our Lord on May 20, 2018. Earline was born in Rose Bud, Ark., on December 4, 1928 to Jinnie Rose (Henderson) (Bates) Foshee and Steve Bates. She is preceded in death by both parents, a son Alvin J Free, and three brothers, Theo, Lester, and Pal Bates. As an empty nester, Earline worked at the AR Children Colony but most of her life was spent being a Mother and homemaker for her family. She was an amazing cook and loved to sew and quilt. Earline leaves behind her husband of 71 years, Herbert J Free, one son, Ronnie G Free (Lisa) of Conway, Ark. and two daughters, Sarah Sellers (Richard) of Mabelvale, Ark. and Sherry Free of Hazen, Ark., brother, Douglas Martin and bonus brother, Alfred Crabtree, and several extended family and friends. The lights of Earline's life are her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at Roller McNutt in Conway, Ark. on Tuesday May 22 between 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, 10 a.m. May 23, 2018 at Roller McNutt with internment to follow at Rest Hill Memorial Park in North Little Rock, Ark.
