Memorial services for Mrs. Carolynn Rebecca Hiett of West Monroe, La. will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 25, 2018 at her home church, Fair Park Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe. Mrs. Hiett was born October 19, 1942 in Eunice, La. and passed from this life on May 21, 2018 in West Monroe, La. at the age of 75. This date would have marked the 22nd anniversary of her marriage to Atherton, her beloved husband. She was a woman of faith and family and loved both with all her heart. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Atherton Hiett Jr.; her parents, Roland and Helen Stagg; and her brother, Greggory Paul Stagg. Survivors include her children, Joan Gegenheimer and spouse, Thomas of West Monroe and Cynthia Waters and spouse, Richard of Monroe; step-children, Angela King and spouse, Eric of Colcord, Okla., Gordon Hiett and spouse, Michelle of Jacksonville, FL.
