JOHN T. "JACK" KING, 51, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away on May 9, 2018. Jack was born August 12, 1966, in Little Rock, Ark., to Charles R. "Bob" King Sr. and Edith A. "Edie" King. He graduated from Ole Main High School in North Little Rock in 1984, and joined the military soon after. He retired from the United States Navy as a Chief Petty Officer after 22 years of distinguished service. He joined his father and brother Charlie as a Right of Way Agent for the past 12 years. Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Edie and older brother, Charles R. "Charlie" King Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Melissa King and her family, and by his daughter, Sarah King of Chesapeake, Va. His is also survived by his father, Bob King of Jonesboro, Ark., his sister, Lorraine Anderson and family of Holdrege, Neb.; sister, Judi King of Little Rock, Ark., brother, James King and family of Russellville, Ark.; his fur babies Betty, Bubba, Penny, Mindy and Sheldon; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and tons of friends. A celebration of Jack's life will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St, Little Rock on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment with full military honors will be held at a later date.
