Victor Norman Brown, age 94, of Rogers, Arkansas, died Friday, May 25, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born October 16, 1923 at Apperson, Oklahoma, the son of Leonidas Fredrick and Jesse Maud Miller Brown. Vic served in the United States Army during World War II in the 273rd Infantry Battalion, located in France. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Pauline Helen Suhler Brown, a daughter, Lana Kay Brown Bearden, a granddaughter, Gina Scherer Brown, as well as his parents, two sisters, and eight brothers. Vic is survived by a son, Dan Brown (Virgie) of Rogers, Arkansas, daughters Linda Brown Monroe of Rogers, Arkansas and Vickie Brown Taylor (Tim) of Hutchinson, Kansas, as well as nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. He operated Brown's Custom Trim in Rogers, Arkansas for over thirty years, and served on the Boards of the Highway 94 East Fire Department, and the Highway 94E Water District. Prior to moving to Rogers, Arkansas in 1972, he was the owner of Brown's Body and Trim Shop in Lyons, Kansas for many years. The family will receive friends at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, Tuesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. with funeral services at 6:00 p.m. Interment in the Rogers Cemetery.
