Jerry Segars Reap

Jerry Segars Reap, age 78, of Pine Bluff, went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 28, 2018. A daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia Ray Segars , she was born June 20, 1939, in Pine Bluff. She graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1957 and continued her education at Capital City Business School. Jerry worked in the banking industry as an Administrative Assistant for over 40 years. After retiring from banking, she worked for County Judge Jack Jones at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Jerry married George Reap on November 23, 1962 in Pine Bluff. She was a member of First Christian Church and a former member and past president of the Pilot Club of Pine Bluff. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Jerry was quick to offer stories about the adventures and accomplishments of granddaughter Anna. "Busting her buttons" over her greatest joy. Jerry is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, George Reap of Pine Bluff; daughter, Stacy Bradford and husband Melvin of North Little Rock; and granddaughter Anna Bradford of North Little Rock. In addition to her parents, Jerry is preceded in death by her son, Scott George Reap. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 10: a.m. at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Home in Pine Bluff. Funeral service will follow at 10 a.m., in the Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverends Kevin Robbins and John Hagan officiating. Interment will be at Prosperity Cemetery in Cleveland County.
