Raymond Earnest Robinson

Raymond Earnest Robinson aka Ray Rob was born on June 10, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John H. Robinson Sr. and Charlene Robinson. Raymond was one of eight children. He received his formal education at Ralph Bunche Elementary School and graduated from Benton Senior High School in 1975. After graduating high school Raymond enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country proudly. Following his discharge from the Navy Raymond went to work at Nassco as a welder. He then went to work at Price Right Pharmacy for 10 years. Raymond was blessed with four sons, Ramon, Stephen Sr., Tomar, and Rayshad Robinson. He was a loving father and grandfather. Raymond was a lover of life. He enjoyed socializing, laughter, and making sure everyone around him was happy. He loved watching football, basketball, and boxing. He truly enjoyed his life to the fullest. On May 22, 2018 after a tough battle with Cancer Raymond was called home to eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his father, John H. Robinson, his mother, Charlene Robinson and brother, Clarence Duckworth. He leaves to cherish his memory four loving and devoted sons, Ramon Robinson of Dallas, Texas, Stephen Robinson Sr. of Sacramento, Calif., Tomar Robinson and Rayshad Robinson both of San Diego, Calif., three grandchildren, Armani (Popo) Robinson, Shayla Robinson, and Stephen Robinson Jr., his siblings, Jonnie Reeves of Reynoldsburg, Ohio, Joyce Porter of Spring Valley, Calif., Shirley Burgess, and Roberta Jones both of Little Rock, Arkansas, John Robinson Jr. of Lemon Grove, Calif., Ronald Robinson of Sherwood, Arkansas, his aunt Rebecca Holman of Hemet, Calif. his companion Gloria Bush of San Diego, Calif. a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also mourning his death are his very loving and devoted friends of over 40 years Dwight Stinson, Gary Dale Jones, Michael Robinson, Tanya Beal, and Ronald King.
