David Allan Whisnant

David Allan Whisnant, of Sherwood, Arkansas, died, on October 08, 2018 at the age of 70. He served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War where he was wounded at Hue City Vietnam and received a Purple Heart. He retired from the North Little Rock Police Department as a Sergeant. After his retirement, he worked as a Lieutenant at the V.A. Hospital. He is survived by his wife, one son, two daughters, one brother, one sister, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, and one son. A Celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Sherwood First Church of The Nazarene 8800 AR-107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120.
