Donald Bartelt

Donald Bartelt of Sherwood passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018. He was born in Lake Benton, Minnesota, to Marvel and Orville Bartelt. He is survived by his son, Todd Bartelt; daughter, Shannon Bartelt Garcia; grandsons, Chad Bartelt, Chase Bartelt and Matthew Avalos; sister, Joann Heech; and by many nieces and nephews. Don retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of service. Don enjoyed working in his yard, playing bridge and loved traveling with his friend Leslie Measle. He will be greatly missed. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held on Monday, September 17, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home.
