Robert Neal Waddill

Robert Neal Waddill, 69, of Springdale, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice. He was born November 13, 1948 in Newport, Arkansas, to Norman Franklin and Vada Viola Masters Waddill. He married Gail Pryor Waddill on October 23, 1976 in North Little Rock. Robert served in the Navy and was an avid golfer. He was a faithful Christian and attended Robinson Avenue Church of Christ where he was active in the Grandpa's Class. Robert was devoted to his family and his joy was his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Brian Waddill and wife Marsha of Maumelle, Karey Simmons and husband Adam of Springdale, Kelly Bishop and husband Adam of Bixby, Oklahoma; two brothers, Carl Waddill and Ronnie Waddill both of Prairie Grove; two sisters, Joan Helms of Little Rock, Catherine Harris of Newport; and seven grandchildren, Emily Waddill, Carson, Brooklyn and Brilyn Simmons, and John David, Judson and Owen Bishop. He was preceded in death by a brother, Norman "Buddy" Waddill. Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral at 12:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, at Robinson Avenue Church of Christ.
