Not at Letti's Cakes, a new North Little Rock custom cake business serving what they call "Lite Lunch." The treats also can serve as one of the two "side" items - as can salad, soup or fruit - that can be ordered with a half or whole sandwich and a drink as part of a lunch combo meal ($6.75-$11).
Cute with turquoise walls and fresh flowers on the display case, Letti's look is quite a departure from the building's previous - and forgive us, frumpish - tenant Paul's Restaurant. The small, inviting space features two-top tables with wooden chairs for those dining as well as some funky upholstered chairs for those idling. While there's a definite ladies-who-lunch vibe, guys should feel welcome too. After all, the No. 7 meal - the Big Man Combo ($11) that includes a whole sandwich with double meat - is just for them.
