Mayor Mark Stodola is joining the U.S. Conference of Mayors in its efforts to raise awareness about prescription drug abuse. Every day, more than 2,500 teenagers abuse prescription medication for the first time. Mayor Stodola joined professors and students from the UAMS College of Pharmacy as well as members of the Mayor’s Youth Council to talk about this growing concern.
