Authorities: After robbing Little Rock fast-food restaurant, gunman takes employee's car

After taking cash from a Little Rock fast-food restaurant Monday night, a robber turned the gun on employees, taking one's keys and fleeing in her car, according to a police report.

Officers were called to the Burger King at 12001 Colonel Glenn Road shortly after 11:30 p.m.

A 23-year-old Little Rock woman told authorities that as workers were cleaning the eatery, the assailant entered through a back door that had been propped open with a rock.

The report states the robber forced two employees to fill a bag with cash from the business's register and safe. The amount of money taken was not disclosed.

The robber then told the 23-year-old to "empty her pockets," and she gave him her car keys and cellphone, police wrote. He fled in her Toyota Corolla, which was later found abandoned an on-ramp of Interstate 430, according to authorities.

The gunman was described as a black male who stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
