17 TVs reported stolen from freezer after break-in of Little Rock nursing home

Over the weekend, a thief stole 17 televisions that were being stored in a freezer at a Little Rock nursing home, police said.

Officers were called to Poplar Grove at 7801 Kanis Road shortly before 9:30 a.m. Monday. The burglary is believed to have occurred sometime 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Monday, according to a report from the city's Police Department.

An employee told authorities that the freezer in the facility's administration building was broken into and 17 TVs, including 14 32-inch televisions, were taken. Officers noted that the lock to the door heading outside was broken from the inside, "as if someone was already in the building."

The total value of the TVs was listed at nearly $3,000.

No suspects were named and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
