Mary A. Lunney

Mary A. Lunney, 77,of Fort Smith, Ark., passed away October 10, 2010. She was born August 3, 1933 in Hartman, Ark. to Charles and Francis Palmer. Mary was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church where she served as church secretary for seven years. She held an Arkansas Insurance license, and was a former secretary for Brown-Hiller-Clark and Joe Byars Insurance Agency's. She is survived by one daughter; Lisa Henley of Fort Smith, Ark., one son; Barry Lunney Sr. and his wife Becky, of Bentonville, Ark., one sister; Betty Hudson of Farmington, Ark., five grandchildren; Barry Lunney Jr. and his wife Janelle of Bentonville, Ark., Rachel Imbo and her husband F.J. of Bentonville, Ark., Daniel Lunney and his wife Emily of Greenwood, Ark., Matt and Megan Henley, both of Fort Smith, Ark.. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; Anna, Adley, and Ruby Imbo of Bentonville, Ark., Luke and Levi Lunney of Bentonville, Ark., and Molly Lunney of Greenwood, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lunney. Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Fort Smith, with The Reverend Mike Lager officiating, under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: Barry Lunney Jr., Daniel Lunney, Matt Henley, F.J.
