Fred Samuel "Bo" Plant

FRED SAMUEL "BO" PLANT, 83, of Mabelvale, passed away Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010. He was born Aug. 26, 1927, in North Little Rock, Ark., to the late Millard J. and Pauline Miller Plant. For 41 years, he owned Bo Plant Electric in Little Rock. Bo had a love for sprint race cars and dirt track racing. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Joyce A. Plant; daughter, Paula Plant Baer and husband Julian R. of Mabelvale; grandson, Sammy Baer and fiancé Leatha Stanley of Bryant; sister-in-law, Shirley Plant of Little Rock; special aunt, Sibyl Maddox of Little Rock; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, M.J. Plant Jr. The family wishes to express special thanks to Dr. Wyatt and staff and to Arkansas Hospice at St. Vincent Doctors Hospital for their caring and kindness. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at Pinecrest Memorial Park, 7401 Hwy 5 North, Alexander, Ark., with Pastor Greg Kirksey officiating.
