Herman Harris Sr.

Herman Harris Sr., 78, of Scott, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Feb. 9, 2011. He's preceded in death by his mother and father, Jessie and Maryene Harris. His survived by three sons, Herman Harris Jr. (Vanessa) of North Little Rock, Herman (Kane) Harris, of North Little Rock and Jessie Harris of Little Rock; three daughters, Gloria (Dean) Harris of North Little Rock, Brenda Jordan, of Scott, Arkansas and Janette Harris of Little Rock, Ark.; two brothers, Frank Harris of North Little Rock and Albert Harris of Grady, Ark.; four stepdaughters, Betty Hornes of Maumelle, Ark., Mary Cooks of Las Vegas, Nev., Sharon Thomas of Mira Loma, Calif., and Kimberly (Michael) White, of Stephenson Ranch, Calif.; one stepson, Michael (Camille) Harris of Jonesboro, Ark., god-daughter, Linda Grandy; Caregiver and special friend, Jim Alexander of Scott, Ark.; 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 19th, 11 a.m., at Stephens Baptist Church, 2201 Lynch Drive, NLR with Rev. Robert Tillman officiating. Interment will follow at Alexander Cemetery.
