Sylvia Ruth Joe

Sylvia Ruth Joe, of North Little Rock, Ark., passed away February 11, 2011. She was born January 13,1922 to Alonzo and Callie Gray Joe in Palestine, Texas. She leaves three siblings: John E. Joe and Loraine Norwood, Tucson, Ariz. and Hannah Lynch Little Rock, Ark.; two sons, Joe Nolan Heard Sr. (Della) Melbourne, Fla. and Byron Brent (Shari) of Sherwood, Ark.; two daughters, Lynda Brent Taylor and Sheila M. Allen of North Little Rock, Ark.; eight grandchildren, Demekia Shay Cole (Zachery), Damion Vault, DeWayne Taylor, and Katelynn Sylvia Brent of Little Rock, Ark., Dhawn Kavounas and Pamela Heard of Melbourne, Fla., Sharon Strayham (William) of Alameda, Calif., Joe Heard, Jr. Boston, Mass.; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
