JOSHUA GREENBAUM, 28, of Little Rock, known to his fans as the rap artist "JG", went to his eternal rest on Saturday, May 7, 2011. He was born May 16th, 1982, and is survived by his loving parents, Ben and Jana, and his pride and joy, his younger brother, Jason. He is also survived by his grandmother, Judy Wood, and his aunt, Kelley Wood, uncles and aunts, David and Polly Greenbaum, Hank and Wiley Greenbaum, Judy Greenbaum and cousins Michael, Sharon and Leah, and their families. Joshua was blessed with a bonus mommy, Joanne Jacks, and sister, Ashley, and her two daughters, Paris and Bayli. He had many dear friends, and Paul "PK" Kimbrough and rap partner Kevin "Terk" McDay were his brothers from another mother. Joshua adored the people in his life, especially the children, Abram, Sarah, Kaylee and Jonathan Greenbaum, and Hanna and Alex Cherepski. Joshua was a talented producer, writer and rap artist who not only used his music to inspire and uplift his audience, but also his fellow artists, his industry, and the home he loved, Little Rock. His love for his home was his signature, and he defined himself as "Lil Roc Built." He loved to entertain, to make people smile, and to be with those he loved. His work ethic and talent endeared him to a host of fans, and despite being stolen from us too soon, he will live on forever in our hearts and in his music. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at Congregation Agudath Achim, 7901 W. 5th Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72205 with Rabbi Kalman Winnick, officiating. Interment will follow at Jewish Oakland Cemetery 19th and Barber Streets, Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to James H. Penick Boys and Girls Club, 1201 Leisure Place, Little Rock, Ark. 72204 or Congregation Agudath Achim. To sign the online guestbook, go to www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
