Clyde J. Park

Mr. Clyde J. Park, 84, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Sunday, May 15, 2011 in Hope, Arkansas. Clyde was born June 27, 1926 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Orel F. and Willie Ada Haynes Park. Mr. Park was a World War II veteran, a 32nd Degree Mason, member of First United Methodist Church and Century Bible Class; he also was a Telephone Pioneer where he tutored in the Telephone Pioneer Literacy Program and the owner of CJ Enterprises. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, one grandson, Parker Taylor Crafton and one sister, Lucille McCann. He is survived by his wife Leila Park of Hope, Arkansas; one son, Griffin and wife Kelly Park of Hope, Arkansas; one daughter, Clyda and husband Rev. Mark B. Massey of Helena, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Tarry and husband Ben Barr and Clint J. and Jessi Park and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, 2011 between the hours of 6-8 p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home. Chapel services will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Johnson, Rev. Kennan Williams and Rev. Mark B. Massey officiating, interment to follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
